Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Min Halloway (ranked 3735 p4p, 298 weight class) and DeMario Valdez (ranked 1906 p4p, 186 weight class). Valdez has chosen Era - Ameno as his entrance music. DeMario Valdez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Valdez is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Halloway flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Halloway is out cold! Valdez holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

DeMario Valdez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
