Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Rogers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien OQuinn! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Rogers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. OQuinn throws a counter combo. OQuinn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rogers with a hook. We've been informed that OQuinn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. OQuinn gets a clinch. Rogers tries to work over OQuinn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. OQuinn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rogers is defending well for now. OQuinn with an attempt at a knee that misses.

OQuinn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rogers. Rogers jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rogers steps into range and cracks OQuinn with a monster punch that buckles his knees! OQuinn flops backwards and Rogers dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Damien OQuinn has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Rogers trying to stand up but can't free himself from OQuinn's guard. Rogers stands and steps away. OQuinn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers misses with a body shot.
OQuinn slips under a jab. Rogers just misses with a punch to the body.
Rogers throws a jab when OQuinn was well out of range. OQuinn slips under a jab from Rogers. Rogers lands a big shot that drops OQuinn! Can he finish him?
OQuinn is rocked! Rogers gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. OQuinn is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him? OQuinn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rogers. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rogers throws a looping overhand right but OQuinn ducks down to avoid it. Rogers tries a low kick but OQuinn avoids it. Despite the aggression on OQuinn's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rogers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. OQuinn sees it coming and avoids it easily. OQuinn gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rogers gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
