The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for The Mobster with that takedown attempt.
The Mobster fails to land the takedown.
Hurley throws a big counter combination but The Mobster scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
The Mobster misses with a double jab
and Hurley counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The Mobster shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hurley pinned against the cage. Hurley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hurley seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Benito Hurley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abbas The Mobster.
Hurley closes the distance and pushes The Mobster back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hurley pulls guard successfully.

Hurley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The Mobster is looking to work some ground and pound but Hurley has wrist control.
The Mobster wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hurley's closed guard. He's half up but Hurley has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hurley pivots and extends the arm, The Mobster falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hurley! Well done that man!
