Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Avetisyan (ranked 542 p4p, 72 weight class) and Ricardinho Vieira (ranked 957 p4p, 114 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Avetisyan did well to prevent Vieira getting side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Edgar Avetisyan will probably get the nod.

Vieira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Avetisyan's waist but Avetisyan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vieira off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vieira dives in and grabs Avetisyan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Avetisyan pushes down on Vieira's head and hops out.

Avetisyan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vieira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vieira manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Avetisyan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
