Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seth Bennett (ranked 5577 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Pierre (ranked 5884 p4p, 0 weight class). John Pierre is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pierre defends it nicely.
Bennett darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bennett thows a huge punch but Pierre dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pierre pushes Bennett off but Bennett dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pierre felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Pierre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bennett's waist but Bennett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pierre off to one side.

John Pierre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pierre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
