Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Wallace (ranked 25436 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Carsky (ranked 6952 p4p, 0 weight class). Carsky has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Martin Carsky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Carsky! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carsky shoots in looking for a takedown but Wallace manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carsky's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Carsky looks winded! Wallace pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wallace feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wallace is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wallace is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carsky is working an open guard so Wallace takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace connects with a high kick. Wallace jabs Carsky to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wallace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Carsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wallace stands up and waves to Carsky to follow him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wallace. Carsky tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wallace trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Carsky doesn't escape. Wallace's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. You can see the frustration on Carsky's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Wallace slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carsky looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Wallace is riding his opponent, not letting Carsky buck him off. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallace drives through with a takedown into Carsky's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wallace is standing up over Carsky. Carsky looks to escape but Wallace dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carsky can't do much from the bottom here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace decides to stand up, so the ref orders Carsky to his feet. Carsky gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wallace to score an easy takedown into full guard. Carsky is wriggling around but Wallace manages to pass to half guard.
Carsky is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace controlling the pace. Wallace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carsky can do to turn this around? Carsky looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wallace gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Carsky gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wallace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace showed some decent athleticism there. Wallace takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wallace not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Still in half guard, Wallace seems content to control. Carsky trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Wallace manages to pass to mount!
Wallace stands up from mount. Strange move. Wallace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Carsky wants to stand back up but Wallace manages to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A control attempt from Carsky but he's now mounted! Wallace controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace prevents Carsky from getting the reversal. Wallace stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Wallace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carsky sprawls well initially but Wallace persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wallace sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wallace decides to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Wallace dominated that second round. That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Carsky takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wallace shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Carsky manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Carsky is wriggling around but Wallace manages to pass to half guard.
Tommy Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wallace performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carsky looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wallace perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Carsky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Further stalling from Wallace. Wallace seems to be working for a kimura but Carsky defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wallace escapes and gets back to his feet. Wallace shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wallace is taking a breather. Carsky says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. This is a sustained period of stalling by Wallace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace escapes and gets back to his feet. Wallace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carsky sprawls well initially but Wallace persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Well, if Wallace is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wallace decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wallace is standing up over Carsky. Carsky looks to escape but Wallace dives into side control.
Wallace controlling the position. Martin Carsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tommy Wallace is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wallace stands up and beckons Carsky to his feet.
