3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Addition BySubtraction! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for BySubtraction. Deth shoots for a takedown but BySubtraction saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. BySubtraction connects with a crisp jab. A big right from Deth misses. BySubtraction throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. BySubtraction ducks right into an uppercut from Deth. Deth definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. BySubtraction lands with a good body shot. BySubtraction throws an overhand right that lands on Deth's shoulder, as Deth tries to avoid the shot. BySubtraction throws the left hand but Deth avoids the punch easily. Deth ducks under a wild hook from BySubtraction. Deth throws the left hand but BySubtraction avoids the punch easily. Deth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BySubtraction looking for submissions off his back. BySubtraction trying to control from the bottom.
Deth trying to pass the guard but BySubtraction defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BySubtraction wants to get back to full guard.

BySubtraction is looking to control Deth's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can BySubtraction avoid being mounted? BySubtraction preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Deth is looking to take a break and control but BySubtraction is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. BySubtraction is defending against the submission attempts here by Deth.

That's three minutes gone in the round. BySubtraction is looking to control Deth's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can BySubtraction avoid being mounted? BySubtraction is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Deth is staying active.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Deth misses with a hook. BySubtraction throws a good cross that connects.
BySubtraction shoots in for a takedown and gets it. BySubtraction is trying to control the action in half guard but Deth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Deth wants to get back to full guard. Deth makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Deth. Deth manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Our spies down at at Team Alpha Midget inform us that BySubtraction has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Deth works over BySubtraction with some ground and pound from guard. Deth wants to control from the top but BySubtraction keeps moving. Deth is looking to work some ground and pound but BySubtraction has wrist control. BySubtraction working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Deth. BySubtraction looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. BySubtraction working for a triangle but Deth defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Lemaron Deth will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
BySubtraction misses with an uppercut. Deth saw that one coming. Addition BySubtraction has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! BySubtraction jabs at Deth's body. Deth slips a straight right by BySubtraction. A left lands for Deth. BySubtraction thuds his right hand into Deth's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. BySubtraction looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Deth! BySubtraction working away. BySubtraction looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. BySubtraction tries for a kimura but Deth is defending well. Deth wants to control but BySubtraction postures up. Deth manages to work his way to half guard, despite BySubtraction's best efforts. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Deth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BySubtraction's guard. Deth stands up over BySubtraction, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. BySubtraction seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Deth wants to control from the top but BySubtraction keeps moving. BySubtraction looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Lemaron Deth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Deth passes BySubtraction's left leg - he's now in half guard. Deth is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. BySubtraction trying to control from the bottom.

BySubtraction regains full guard. Nicely done. BySubtraction looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Deth has picked BySubtraction up and slammed him! BySubtraction can't keep hold of the triangle and Deth manages to pass to side control! BySubtraction tries to buck Deth off but Deth is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Deth landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. BySubtraction struggling a bit here. BySubtraction throws a body shot but no joy. BySubtraction throws a hook to the side of Deth's head but Deth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. BySubtraction changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. BySubtraction shoots in and bounces Deth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Deth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BySubtraction's guard. BySubtraction looking to control.
BySubtraction might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Deth haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Deth trying to control but BySubtraction is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. BySubtraction is trying to keep Deth in close.

BySubtraction working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Deth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Deth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Deth with a nice head shot there. Deth wants to control from the top but BySubtraction keeps moving. Deth looking to pass the guard. BySubtraction being controlled here, momentarily. Deth pushing down on BySubtraction's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. BySubtraction is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Deth scores with a couple of nice shots. Deth is stalling here. BySubtraction is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Deth seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and BySubtraction has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Deth manages to get back to half guard. Deth tries to get to full guard but BySubtraction has control of the leg. BySubtraction wants to lay and pray for a moment but Deth keeps working. BySubtraction is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Deth is trying to control the position from the bottom.

BySubtraction loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Deth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Deth trying to control the position from guard on top but BySubtraction is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Deth scoring with punches to the head and body.
