Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Android Gogeta (ranked 3420 p4p, 443 weight class) and Chris Robertson (ranked 5540 p4p, 574 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Android Gogeta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson thumps Gogeta with a low kick.

Robertson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Gogeta holding on.
Robertson wants to stand but Gogeta has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Gogeta's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gogeta manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Gogeta tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Robertson manages to move to mount!

Gogeta is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gogeta could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Robertson controlling the pace for now.
Gogeta regains half guard.
Gogeta is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Robertson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gogeta is holding on to half guard well.
Robertson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gogeta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gogeta tries to roll over but Robertson keeps him under control.
Robertson wants to free his trapped foot but Gogeta is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gogeta manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gogeta is trying to keep Robertson in close.
Gogeta looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Robertson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gogeta tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Robertson is in Gogeta's guard.
Gogeta is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Gogeta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gogeta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gogeta has control of Robertson's left arm, preventing Robertson from doing any damage.

Robertson looking to sit in guard and control but Gogeta gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gogeta won't allow Robertson to get back to his feet.
Robertson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Robertson is looking to stand back up but Gogeta counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Robertson.
Gogeta landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gogeta lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Gogeta works his way into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chris Robertson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Gogeta has closed the distance and engaged Robertson in a clinch.
Gogeta drops down looking for an ankle pick but Robertson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gogeta tries to clinch up but Robertson circles away and keeps his distance.
Gogeta on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gogeta wants to clinch up but Robertson keeps it at a distance.
Robertson is looking for the big counter here.

Robertson moves into the clinch successfully.
Gogeta drops down looking for an ankle pick but Robertson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gogeta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Robertson is fending him off so far but Gogeta persists. Nope, Robertson circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Gogeta. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chris Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robertson works over Gogeta's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Android Gogeta has been cut.
Android Gogeta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gogeta takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Robertson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Robertson has closed the distance and engaged Gogeta in a clinch.
The referee calls for Robertson to work.

Robertson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gogeta shoots for a takedown but Robertson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gogeta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robertson swivels and escapes.
Robertson throws a head kick that Gogeta semi-blocks.

Gogeta forces Robertson back against the cage and clinches.

Gogeta on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fight stays on the outside here - Robertson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gogeta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robertson swivels and escapes.
Robertson looks to land a combination. Gogeta sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Robertson pushes Gogeta off looking to stand but Gogeta dives back in and keeps control.
Gogeta wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robertson keeps working.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Gogeta shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gogeta shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gogeta showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gogeta is keen to just control but Robertson is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Robertson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Android Gogeta's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Robertson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Gogeta is looking to improve his position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Robertson stands and steps away. Gogeta gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Chris Robertson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Robertson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Robertson lands a head kick. Gogeta smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Robertson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Gogeta tries to clinch up.
Robertson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Robertson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Robertson as Gogeta shoots in.
Robertson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Robertson lands with a nice combination. Gogeta backs away looking to recover.
Gogeta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Robertson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gogeta.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Robertson dives in and scores a takedown into Gogeta's guard.
Gogeta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gogeta is trying to control the position but Robertson postures up.

Gogeta bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Robertson's guard.

Gogeta is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Robertson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Android Gogeta overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Robertson tries to hold on but Gogeta pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Robertson is squirming around, avoiding Gogeta's attempts to control the action.
Gogeta pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Chris Robertson.
I've got Robertson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
