The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuelson throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Azambuja to counter with a crisp jab.
Azambuja lands a nice looking body shot.
Samuelson misses with a takedown
and Azambuja counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Samuelson thinking.
Samuelson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Azambuja connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Samuelson scrambles back to his feet.
Samuelson tries to land a leg kick but Azambuja saw it coming and moves away.

Azambuja throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Azambuja gets through Samuelson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Azambuja's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Azambuja clobbers Samuelson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Azambuja lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Samuelson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Azambuja and Samuelson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Azambuja.
