The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmonds swings for the body but Nobriega moves out of range.
Edmonds throws an off balance right hand
and Nobriega cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nobriega lands with a slapping head kick.
Nobriega throws a left and a right that both miss
so Edmonds counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nobriega is wriggling around but Edmonds manages to pass to half guard.
Edmonds has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nobriega defend it? Edmonds steps over the head and cranks it - Nobriega is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Edmonds!
