Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkland changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bugbee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bugbee explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Kirkland takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bugbee connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kirkland. Kirkland circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kirkland is looking for a counter combo.
Bugbee drives through and clinches with Kirkland against the cage.
Bugbee decides to pull guard.
Kirkland not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kirkland has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bugbee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bugbee wants to control but Kirkland passes easily into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kirkland connects with a nice short shot to Bugbee's temple.
Bugbee on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kirkland is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kirkland is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bugbee is just riding it out for now. Kirkland eventually gives up the hold.
Kirkland has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bugbee wants to get back to full guard but Kirkland has passed into side control.
Bugbee is trying to buck Kirkland off.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kirkland lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bugbee tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Kirkland takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kirkland's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kirkland seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bugbee for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kirkland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bugbee is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Kirkland has taken his back.
Kirkland has managed to slip his arm under Bugbee's chin. This could be all over... yep, Bugbee is tapping out! Submission win for Kirkland.
