Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edison Shaffer (ranked 5549 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dumile (ranked 5265 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edison Shaffer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Dumile! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dumile closes the distance and clinches. Dumile is struggling to control the position. Dumile wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shaffer has him pressed against the cage. Shaffer fails to pull guard.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Dumile breaks the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Dumile as Shaffer shoots in. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dumile closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shaffer to the mat! Shaffer manages to get full guard. Shaffer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dumile blocking the ground and pound attempt from Shaffer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dumile wants to get back to his feet. Shaffer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dumile is pressing down on Shaffer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dumile has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Dumile wants to get back to his feet but Shaffer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Shaffer looking to sit in guard and control but Dumile gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dumile wants to stand but Shaffer is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Shaffer wants to sweep here but Dumile controlling him for the moment. Shaffer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dumile defends it easily. Shaffer being controlled here, momentarily. Shaffer keeping full guard, as Dumile tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dumile drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shaffer dives on top into guard. Dumile looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dumile looking for a guillotine here but Shaffer defends easily.
Shaffer really is a fat lump. Dumile is looking to stand up but Shaffer isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dumile is controlling Shaffer's posture. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dumile is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shaffer defends well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shaffer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dumile to score an easy takedown into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Dumile dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Shaffer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dumile circles away. Dumile fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shaffer to the ground. Dumile is now in Shaffer's guard. Daniel Dumile has got the better of the ground game so far. Shaffer will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Dumile throws an elbow that misses. Shaffer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dumile's guard. Nice move by Shaffer! Shaffer won't allow Dumile to sweep him here. Dumile manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shaffer manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dumile not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dumile has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dumile trying to control the position from guard on top but Shaffer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dumile wanted to stand there but Shaffer had control of the position. Dumile wants to control from the top but Shaffer keeps moving. Dumile throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shaffer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Shaffer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dumile controls the pace. Dumile working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Shaffer's head. Shaffer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dumile controls the pace. Shaffer keeping moving, preventing Dumile from controlling successfully.

Dumile shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shaffer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dumile looking to sit in guard and control but Shaffer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Shaffer stands up and waves to Dumile to follow him. Dumile clinches up with Shaffer and pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dumile pulls Shaffer into guard.

Shaffer lands a couple of elbows. Shaffer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dumile is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Dumile showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Dumile shoots in and gets a takedown into Shaffer's guard. Dumile is looking to advance position but Shaffer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Dumile wants to hold on but Shaffer pushes him away. Shaffer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dumile tries to reverse the position but Shaffer maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dumile keeps trying to improve his position. Dumile tries to hold on but Shaffer postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaffer landing strikes from the mount. Shaffer wants to control the pace but Dumile is squirming around nicely. Shaffer prevents Dumile from getting the reversal. Shaffer controlling his opponent. Dumile is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dumile is working to get back to half guard.
Dumile takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Shaffer looking to control but Dumile is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dumile working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Shaffer connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dumile regains half guard. Shaffer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Shaffer tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaffer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Shaffer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Shaffer is trying to control the action in half guard but Dumile is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dumile is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shaffer stalling away here and it's allowed Dumile to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Edison Shaffer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dumile has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
