Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock clinches up against the cage.
Rock gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Owens.
Rock jumps into guard, dragging Owens to the mat.
Rock has his feet on Owens's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Owens could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Owens is defended easily by Rock.
Owens shoots in but Rock avoids the takedown attempt easily.
As Owens backs off Rock throws a huge counter combo but Owens manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irwin Owens. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owens stuffs the takedown.
Owens tries to clinch up but Rock circles away and keeps his distance.
Rock throws a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Rock has cracked Owens with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Rock lands another huge swinging hook and Owens tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Owens, before Rock can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesper Rock!
