The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunez dives in for a single leg takedown but Culpi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nunez lands a high kick!

It looks like Jemerson Culpi has been cut.
Nunez misses with the combination.
Nunez blocks a head kick by Culpi.
Culpi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nunez.

Nunez lands a left and a right that send Culpi crashing to the mat, dazed. Nunez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Culpi is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horrible takedown attempt by Nunez or perhaps it was just good defense by Culpi, which made it look bad.
Culpi is still on wobbly legs! Can Nunez finish him?
Nunez fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Culpi square on the jaw! Damn, Culpi is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
