Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Beast (ranked 2352 p4p, 310 weight class) and Horatius McDaniels (ranked 1846 p4p, 254 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Horatius McDaniels!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniels goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Beast uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McDaniels.
McDaniels moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Dave Beast has been cut.
Good shot there by Beast.
McDaniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beast moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Beast closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beast throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Beast stops McDaniels from getting back to his feet.
Beast working over McDaniels with some ground and pound. McDaniels looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McDaniels is trying to stand up here but Beast is controlling him well.
McDaniels is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
McDaniels felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

McDaniels kicks Beast off and gets back to his feet.

Beast closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McDaniels did well to prevent Beast getting side control.
Beast working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Beast stops McDaniels from getting back to his feet.
We've been hearing that Beast has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Beast lands a nice short elbow.
Beast wants to pass the guard but McDaniels is defending well.
Beast looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McDaniels with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McDaniels wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beast connects with a nice short shot to McDaniels's temple.
McDaniels is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beast landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

McDaniels is rocked!

Beast scores with a big shot! McDaniels's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save McDaniels! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
