Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ram tries to close the distance and clinch but Howell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Howell shoots in for a takedown but Ram shows good takedown defense.
No luck for Howell with that takedown attempt.
Ram wants to clinch.
Howell takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Ram is looking to clinch.
Ram feints and as Howell raises his hands in defense, Ram changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ram wants to stand but Howell has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Howell is on top in guard.

and Howell counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Howell wants to free his trapped foot but Ram is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Howell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ram is just riding it out for now. Howell eventually gives up the hold.
Ram pushes Howell off looking to stand but Howell dives back in and keeps control.

Howell looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Howell tries for a kimura but Ram is defending well.
Howell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ram knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Howell creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ram sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Howell goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ram rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Howell's guard! Nice work there by Ram!

Howell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ram manages to get himself to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Howell is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ram has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grace Howell dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Howell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Howell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ram knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Howell on the ground.

Howell is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ram can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ram is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Howell has hold of Ram's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ram manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ram is desperately trying to improve his position but Howell has a good base and remains in mount.

Howell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ram can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Howell quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Howell but it's paid off an Ram is forced to tap! Nice work by Howell.
