Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zdravko Saric (ranked 249 p4p, 8 weight class) and Sunray Spike (ranked 208 p4p, 9 weight class). Spike is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: For Heavy Metal we will die!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sunray Spike!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saric checks a leg kick.
Spike works the jab nicely.

Spike has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Spike throws a combination. Saric tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Spike cracks Saric with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Spike is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Saric had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Saric missing with a left hand there. Spike was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Spike counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Spike clinches up with Saric and pushes him back against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Saric's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Spike throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Saric stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Saric throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Spike feints and then cracks Saric's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Saric down.

Spike feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sarics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spike lands a big head kick that sends Saric tumbling to the mat! Spike takes a step backwards and waves Saric back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Spike lands a big uppercut and Saric crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Saric looks OK. Spike waves Saric back to his feet!
Oh Saric is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saric glances at the clock... BAM! Spike nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Saric crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Saric is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sunray Spike!
After the fight, Sunray Spike was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Zdravko Saric spoke after the fight, saying 'I wish to say sori to my fans and its all my fault because i spent to much time in bed with my opponents wife last nite.....'.
