Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Severn (ranked 4124 p4p, 494 weight class) and Aleksandar Kamenov (ranked 3790 p4p, 471 weight class). Kamenov has chosen Korn - Hey Daddy as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
34 - 38 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Severn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
34 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aleksandar Kamenov!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn moves away from the strike by Kamenov.
Kamenov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kamenov slips under a jab.
A swing and a miss from Kamenov.
Kamenov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Severn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Severn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Severn throws a quick counter kick to the body but Kamenov avoids it.
Kamenov stuns Severn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Severn throws a head kick but Kamenov moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Severn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Severn misses with a hook to the body
and Kamenov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Chris Severn has been cut.
Severn gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Severn tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kamenov is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Severn buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Severn!! Severn is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kamenov throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aleksandar Kamenov!
In his post fight interview, Aleksandar Kamenov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
