The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Velasquez seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Velasquez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pitbull moves forwards but Velasquez connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Velasquez ducks under a wild hook from Pitbull.
Pitbull keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Velasquez throws the left hand but Pitbull avoids the punch easily.
Pitbull misses with a wild combination.
Velasquez is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pitbull.
Velasquez shoots in but no luck this time.
Stipe Velasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitbull thows a left - swing and a miss!
Velasquez throws a lazy right hand but Pitbull sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Velasquez dives in and scores a takedown into Pitbull's guard.

Pitbull really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velasquez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Velasquez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Velasquez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Velasquez cracks Pitbull with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Velasquez immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Pitbull is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Velasquez!
