Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Wyatt (ranked 5466 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abbas The Mobster (ranked 7025 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dudley Wyatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abbas The Mobster!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Mobster clinches up with Wyatt and pushes him back against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Wyatt.

Wyatt digs a right hand underneath The Mobster's ribcage. The Mobster let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The Mobster is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wyatt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The Mobster tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wyatt just stands there and leans against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that The Mobster has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The Mobster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wyatt walks away with a smile on his face. The Mobster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The Mobster clinches up against the cage.
The Mobster jumps guard but Wyatt stands there with The Mobster around his waist. The Mobster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The Mobster tries to land knees in the clinch but Wyatt avoids the damage to the body.
The Mobster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wyatt walks away with a smile on his face. The Mobster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Wyatt counters with a single leg into guard. The Mobster didn't expect that.
Wyatt passes The Mobster's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Wyatt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Mobster doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wyatt.

Wyatt is looking for a kimura here.

The Mobster tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wyatt has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The Mobster tries to lock up and control but Wyatt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wyatt lands with some strikes.


It looks like Abbas The Mobster has been cut.
Wyatt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The Mobster wants to hold on but Wyatt pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The Mobster is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wyatt lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Mobster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wyatt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Mobster can do to turn this around?

Wyatt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wyatt is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The Mobster has hold of Wyatt's hands but Wyatt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Wyatt seems to be working for a kimura but The Mobster defends the submission attempt.
Wyatt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wyatt is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Wyatt lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The Mobster tries to get to full guard but Wyatt has control of the leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wyatt lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


The Mobster throws a leg kick

and Wyatt counters with a nice double leg into side control. The Mobster won't be happy with that.

The Mobster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wyatt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The Mobster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wyatt connects with a decent elbow.


Abbas The Mobster's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Abbas The Mobster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dudley Wyatt!
