Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ponce.
Ponce lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Harvey Dent has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ponce, as that shot connected.
Ponce shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dent as he avoids it easily.
Dent gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ponce.
Dent avoids the head kick by Ponce.
Dent with the counter takedown but Ponce avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ponce trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dent wants to take a breather but Ponce is having none of it.

Ponce is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dent can do to turn this around?

That was a close second round but I would say that Jean Ponce will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dent trying to control from half guard but Ponce is working away.
Dent is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dent is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ponce defends it well.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A good leg kick by Ponce.
Dent leaves Ponce with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jean Ponce.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ponce, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
