Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivar The Viking (ranked 2660 p4p, 133 weight class) and Zangief Smashterov (ranked 2042 p4p, 94 weight class). The Viking comes to the cage accompanied by Vikings Hunt-by VENOM. Smashterov has chosen Rock you like a hurricane-by THE SCORPIONS as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The Viking misses with a lunging right hand
letting Smashterov counter with a right hand.
Horrible takedown attempt by The Viking or perhaps it was just good defense by Smashterov, which made it look bad.
Ivar The Viking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Viking fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A lazy left from Smashterov finds it's target.
Smashterov scores with a nice body kick.
We've been informed that Smashterov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The Viking lands a nice hook to Smashterov's body. Smashterov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Smashterov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The Viking is rocked!
Smashterov throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oh The Viking is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BAM! Smashterov delivers a spinning backfist that drops The Viking like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

After the fight, Zangief Smashterov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
