Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivar The Boneless (ranked 2652 p4p, 131 weight class) and Ron Rousey (ranked 2636 p4p, 129 weight class). The Boneless comes to the cage accompanied by Valhallas March-by HEAVEN SHALL BURN . Rousey has chosen Here comes Da Boom -by P.O.D as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The Boneless throws out a loose jab but Rousey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rousey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rousey thuds his right hand into The Boneless's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The Boneless loads up on a big right hand but Rousey slips the punch.

And Rousey tries to counter it with a takedown but The Boneless pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Rousey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. The Boneless tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rousey is in The Boneless's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ivar The Boneless was interviewed post fight and said 'My training will continue......the belt will be mine.'.
