Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grinny Lopez (ranked 1456 p4p, 80 weight class) and Chris Harper (ranked 1249 p4p, 55 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grinny Lopez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Harper! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lopez looks to land a right hand but Harper moved out of range. Lopez misses with a straight left. Harper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lopez throws out the jab. Lopez misses with an uppercut
enabling Harper to counter with a crisp jab. A punch combination from Lopez misses. Grinny Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big left from Lopez misses. Lopez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Lopez defending well as Harper loads up on a big left hand. Harper moves into the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Harper. Lopez swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Harper lands a shot to the body. Harper lands on the inside with an uppercut. Harper doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lopez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lopez misses with a short punch on the inside. Lopez tries to pull guard but Harper forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Harper presses Lopez against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Harper scores with an uppercut up the middle. Harper cracks Lopez with a nice body shot. Harper tries a body shot but Lopez blocks it.
Harper throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lopez tries to throw a body punch but Harper avoids it by throwing Lopez back against the cage. Lopez jumps into guard, dragging Harper to the mat.
Harper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lopez looking for a guillotine here but Harper defends easily.

Lopez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Harper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lopez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harper being controlled here momentarily. Lopez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lopez looking for a triangle here. Harper is fighting it but it looks tight! Lopez pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Harper is tapping out - this one is all over!
