Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cocky Palboa!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melton misses with a takedown
and Palboa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Palboa lands a big right hand that sends Melton crashing to the mat! Palboa stays standing though and waves Melton back to his feet!
It looks like Albert Melton has been cut.
Melton tries to bum rush Palboa with a series of wild strikes but Palboa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Melton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Palboa scores with a counter punch that sends Melton to the canvas! Palboa smells blood - he's punishing Melton with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Melton has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cocky Palboa!
A relieved looking Cocky Palboa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
