And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Ellison Jr!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Baker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Baker lands a leg kick that knocks Ellison Jr off balance momentarily.
Ellison Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Baker scores with a hook.
Ellison Jr avoids the body shot from Baker.
Baker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Baker scores with a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ellison Jr is defended easily by Baker.
Baker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ellison Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Baker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A bone on bone clash there as Ellison Jr blocks the leg kick.
Ellison Jr moves in looking to clinch but Baker pushes him off.
Baker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ellison Jr tries to clinch there but Baker circles away.

Baker plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Baker rushes Ellison Jr and presses him up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Baker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Baker working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ellison Jr's coach down at Double XX was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ellison Jr's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Baker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Baker stuffs the takedown.
Brian Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Ellison Jr.
Baker keeps the fight on the outside.
A counter left hand to the body from Baker misses its target.
Baker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Baker lands the left hand.
Baker connects with a body shot that sends Ellison Jr's belly button to the back.
Ellison Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Baker, looking for a takedown. Ellison Jr pushes Baker against the cage but Baker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Baker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ellison Jr. Ellison Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brian Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ellison Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ellison Jr fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ellison Jr fails with a takedown attempt.
Baker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Baker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Ellison Jr drives through and clinches with Baker against the cage.
Baker working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Ellison Jr is looking to break free of the clinch but Baker has double underhooks.

Baker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ellison Jr shoots in but Baker avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Oooooh!!! Baker has knocked Ellison Jr down with a huge combo! Baker steps away and waves a wobbly Ellison Jr back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ellison Jr is rocked!
Baker lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Ellison Jr crumples to the floor! Baker milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
