Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunny Anstey (ranked 1652 p4p, 180 weight class) and Mario Eikmeyer (ranked 1655 p4p, 181 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eikmeyer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Eikmeyer or perhaps it was just good defense by Anstey, which made it look bad.
Anstey scores with a crisp jab that stopped Eikmeyer in his tracks.
Some wild striking there from Anstey.
The crowd cheers as Anstey lands an impressive looking overhand right. Eikmeyer doesn't seem phased though.

Bunny Anstey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Eikmeyer.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anstey sprawls well. Anstey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eikmeyer gets slowly back to his feet.
Eikmeyer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anstey defends it nicely.
Anstey lands a big uppercut and Eikmeyer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Eikmeyer looks OK. Anstey waves Eikmeyer back to his feet!

It looks like Mario Eikmeyer has been cut.

and Anstey counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
