Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thomas (ranked 15715 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robo Pope (ranked 15176 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Onward To Victory. Pope has chosen Ghost - Monstrance Clock as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pope tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Thomas is in Pope's guard.
Pope looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Thomas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pope is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thomas, into his guard.
Pope is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Thomas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pope is looking to defend but Thomas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pope! Thomas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pope taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mike Thomas!
Mike Thomas really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
The defeated Robo Pope had this to say: 'I hope to be the first MMA fighter to die in the ring. Help make my dream come true.'.
