Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Carlyle (ranked 4583 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Dinosaur (ranked 22010 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlyle comes to the cage accompanied by Ladies and Gentlemen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Carlyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiger Dinosaur !
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlyle tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Carlyle lands a body shot.

Dinosaur closes the distance and pushes Carlyle back into the cage.

Carlyle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dinosaur takes one to the chin there.
Carlyle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dinosaur gets a double leg takedown into Carlyle's guard.
Dinosaur trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Carlyle tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dinosaur throws a solid leg kick but Carlyle takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dinosaur .
Carlyle works over Dinosaur 's head and body with a nice combination.
Carlyle pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dinosaur is out of range and Carlyle settles back down.
Dinosaur moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Dinosaur tries a low kick but Carlyle avoids it.
Carlyle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dinosaur in his tracks.

Carlyle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Carlyle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dinosaur sees it coming and defends easily.

Carlyle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Carlyle is looking for a kimura here.
Dinosaur is concentrating on defense, preventing Carlyle from advancing position.
Let's hope that Dinosaur has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Carlyle wants to work for an arm triangle but Dinosaur is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Dinosaur is trying to maintain the position but Carlyle is very close to passing his half guard.
Dinosaur wants to get back to full guard.
Carlyle is thwarting Dinosaur 's attempts to control the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Carlyle is fighting to break Dinosaur 's control of his arms but Dinosaur is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Carlyle is trying to trip Dinosaur . He has hold of a leg but Dinosaur is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Carlyle persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carlyle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dinosaur 's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dinosaur looks up at the clock and then as Carlyle takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dinosaur smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Carlyle is working hard here to advance position.

I would just about give that final round to Tiger Dinosaur .
Well Carlyle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
