Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkov swats away the attempt to clinch by Howler.
Barkov lands with a nice body punch.
Barkov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Barkov thuds his right hand into Howler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Howler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Viktor Barkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howler closes the distance and clinches up with Barkov, looking for a takedown. Howler pushes Barkov against the cage but Barkov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barkov lands a nice hook to Howler's body. Howler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Howler wants to clinch up but Barkov keeps it at a distance.

Barkov clobbers Howler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Howler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barkov, pushing him back against the cage.

Barkov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Howler is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Barkov to the mat. Barkov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Barkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Howler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Howler has managed to get both his arms back between Barkov's legs - danger averted.

Howler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Barkov's face.
