Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sidney Chang (ranked 5987 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nemanja Ivezic (ranked 7765 p4p, 0 weight class). Nemanja Ivezic is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sidney Chang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nemanja Ivezic! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivezic drives through and clinches with Chang against the cage.
Ivezic looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ivezic is trying to break the clinch but Chang has him pressed against the cage. Ivezic has Chang pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chang manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A head punch on the inside from Chang fails to land. Ivezic is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Ivezic has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chang after a bit of a struggle. Chang lands a takedown into guard.
Chang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ivezic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Chang is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ivezic wants to sweep but no luck. Chang showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ivezic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ivezic has momentary wrist control but Chang slips an elbow through the middle. Chang slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chang content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Chang controlling from the top position. Ivezic looking for a guillotine here but Chang defends easily.
Chang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chang works over Ivezic with some ground and pound from guard. Chang sitting in guard here, content to control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ivezic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chang content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Chang working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Chang controls from within his opponent's guard. Chang connects with a couple of short punches. Chang with a nice head shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chang is stalling in the full guard. Ivezic is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chang looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chang keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ivezic's head. Chang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ivezic being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chang landing some decent shots from guard. Chang is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ivezic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chang is controlling him. Chang controlling from the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chang moves into the clinch successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sidney Chang dominated that round. That's time! Chang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ivezic gets tackled into the cage by Chang. Chang maintains the clinch. Chang manages to pull guard.
Ivezic wants to control from the top but Chang keeps moving. Chang seems keen to control Ivezic's posture. Chang's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Chang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ivezic can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chang has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ivezic doesn't defend quickly enough and Chang has managed to lock this one up! Can Ivezic escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Chang on a fantastic submission victory.
