The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gignac has closed the distance and engaged Krejza in a clinch.

Gignac is not content to let Krejza control the position.
Gignac knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krejza on the ground.

Krejza thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Krejza works to advance to full mount. Gignac defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
