Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brad Blackburn (ranked 25406 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bloody Nine (ranked 5496 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brad Blackburn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bloody Nine! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nine closes the distance and clinches. Blackburn tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nine's elbow. Blackburn managing to block the knees to the body from Nine.
Nine tries to land a knee to the head but Blackburn blocks with his arms.
Blackburn with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nine is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Blackburn can't fight it off and eventually Nine manages to take the fight to the floor. Blackburn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Blackburn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blackburn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nine passes Blackburn's left leg - he's now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nine is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Blackburn manages to get to full guard. Nine has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nine tries to free his leg and advance position but Blackburn is retaining full guard. Blackburn really is a fat lump. Blackburn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nine controls the pace. Nine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blackburn's guard. Nine is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Blackburn reverses the position - he's now on top in Nine's guard. Nine is controlling Blackburn's posture. Nine is trying to keep Blackburn in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blackburn being controlled here momentarily. Blackburn won't allow Nine to get back to his feet. Blackburn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nine is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nine looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blackburn is one step ahead there. Blackburn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are working up against the cage. Nine manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Blackburn tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Nine avoids it. Nine breaks the clinch.
Nine darts in and clinches Blackburn up against the cage. Blackburn can't find room to land a body shot as Nine controls the action.
Nine jumps guard.
Nine throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Blackburn escapes and throws Nine's legs to the side, diving into side control! Nine throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Nine. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nine tries a head kick but it misses.
Nine thuds his right hand into Blackburn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Nine throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Blackburn tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nine is in Blackburn's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nine is pushing down on Blackburn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blackburn is fighting to maintain full guard but Nine has managed to sneak the leg through. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nine in particular looking to stall. Blackburn is looking for a sweep. Nine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bloody Nine dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nine lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Brad Blackburn has been cut. Blackburn gets caught napping as Nine dives in and scores a takedown. Blackburn manages to retain guard. Nine has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nine wants to get up but he can't break Blackburn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Nine is stalling in the full guard. Nine gets to his feet. Blackburn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nine throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Blackburn counters with a lovely shot to the body. Nine moves into the clinch. Nine pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nine managing to control the position. Blackburn stopping the sweep attempt from Nine. Blackburn stops Nine from standing up. Nine is wriggling around but Blackburn manages to pass to half guard.
Bloody Nine has got the better of the ground game so far. Blackburn is thwarting Nine's attempts to control the position. Nine gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nine throws his legs up looking for a submission but Blackburn uses it to pass to side control.
Nine is breathing heavily. Blackburn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nine has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nine tries to buck Blackburn off but Blackburn is having none of it. Blackburn creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nine sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Blackburn goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nine rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Blackburn's guard! Nice work there by Nine!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nine looking to sit in guard and control but Blackburn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Blackburn trying to control the position from guard on top but Nine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blackburn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nine tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nine throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Blackburn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Nine looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nine has his hands on Blackburn's head, controlling the position. Nine looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Blackburn passes into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bloody Nine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brad Blackburn's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Nine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nine prevents Blackburn from improving his position. Blackburn is not content to let Nine control the position. Blackburn trying to hold on to Nine's head to control him but Nine postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blackburn is refusing to be controlled, as Nine sits in half guard. Nine postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Blackburn to stand up. Nine rushes Blackburn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nine has Blackburn pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nine pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Blackburn tumbling to the mat - Nine dives into Blackburn's guard. Blackburn is working an open guard so Nine takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Blackburn enables Nine to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blackburn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nine takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nine throws an elbow that misses. Blackburn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nine's guard. Nice move by Blackburn! Blackburn won't allow Nine to get back to his feet. Blackburn lands a couple of decent looking shots. Nine controlling Blackburn's posture. Blackburn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nine working a defensive guard here.

Nine wants to control but Blackburn passes easily into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bloody Nine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nine has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
