The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freitas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Batho's waist but Batho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freitas off to one side.
Batho was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Freitas is looking to clinch.
Freitas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Batho counters with an inside leg kick.
Freitas fails to land the takedown.
Batho throws a fast counter high kick but Freitas manages to duck under it in time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabio Vitor Freitas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters circle, before Batho throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Freitas's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Batho lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
