Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gray Vick (ranked 12532 p4p, 601 weight class) and Billy Vandam (ranked 3323 p4p, 341 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Gray Vick! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Billy Vandam!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.

Vandam rushes Vick and presses him up against the cage.
Vick ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vick no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Vick can't keep his opponent in guard - Vandam advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Vick is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Ramirez School Of Excellence, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Vick is looking to improve his position.
Vandam is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Vandam tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vick knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vandam is working for a submission of some sort.
Vick is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vandam pulls his head out easily.

Vick is trying to maintain the position but Vandam is very close to passing his half guard.
Vick is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vandam is looking to pass Vick's guard but actually Vick recovers to full guard.
Vandam passes Vick's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vick works his way to full guard. Good work.
Vandam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vandam trying to control the position from guard on top but Vick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vick has his foot on Vandam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vandam works his way back into a safe position though.

Vick is trying to keep Vandam in close.
Vick is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Vandam has his hands clasped together but Vick extends and breaks Vandam's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Vick.
