Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Big Bobby (ranked 3253 p4p, 148 weight class) and Jacques Durand (ranked 19680 p4p, 132 weight class). Durand has chosen Kaaris - S.E.V.R.A.N. as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Big Bobby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques Durand!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durand displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bobby throws out the jab.
Bobby does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bobby takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bobby tries to clinch but Durand moves out of range.
Bobby takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Durand tries a head kick but it misses.

Durand pushes Bobby up against the cage in a clinch.
Durand throws a knee to the head but misses.
A frustrated look appears on Bobby's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bobby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Durand pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Durand connects with a leg kick. Bobby looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Durand throws a looping overhand right but Bobby ducks down to avoid it.

Durand on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bobby tries a head kick but it misses.
Bobby shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Durand eats them both and turns towards Bobby to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Both fighters circling a little - Bobby finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Bobby takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Durand tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Bobby counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bobby takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durand takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That has opened up Jacques Durand's cut even more.
A shot to the body from Durand misses
and Bobby counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Durand takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bobby throws a shot from downtown. Durand moves away and avoids it.
Durand throws out a counter right but Bobby avoids it with no problem.
Jacques Durand is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Durand walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Bobby rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Durand has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
A head kick misses from Durand.
Good leg kick by Durand there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Durand scores with a shot to the body.

Durand darts in and clinches Bobby up against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Big Bobby.
I think Durand has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
