Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aimo Moukari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snoop Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Snoop Redman enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Moukari avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moukari throws an overhand right that lands on Redman's shoulder, as Redman tries to avoid the shot. A telegraphed right hand from Moukari misses the target. Moukari motions for Redman to come forward. Moukari throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Redman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Redman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moukari looks to score with a jab to the body but Redman is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redman shoots in for a double leg but Moukari sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Redman walks into a left hand. Moukari lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Moukari keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Aimo Moukari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snoop Redman.

Moukari sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Moukari tries to roll over but Redman keeps him under control. Moukari is breathing heavily. Moukari is looking to control Redman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moukari avoid being mounted?
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Moukari misses with a looping left. Moukari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The fight stays on the outside here - Moukari looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Moukari lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Redman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A big left from Moukari misses. Redman closes the distance but Moukari moves to the side and Moukari counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Moukari fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Redman checks it well. Redman avoids the body shot from Moukari.
Jab by Moukari. Redman misses with a takedown attempt and Moukari counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Moukari bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Moukari just content to control the position. Moukari wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Redman, who protects the arm well. Redman is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aimo Moukari dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Moukari scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Redman doesn't seem bothered though. Moukari doesn't manage to clinch there - Redman circles away.
Moukari tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redman was well out of range. Poor timing from Moukari. Redman slips under a jab from Moukari. Redman with a poor takedown and Moukari counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Moukari could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Redman is looking for a sweep. Moukari is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Moukari works his foot free and advances to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moukari goes for an armbar but Redman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Redman.

Redman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Moukari has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Redman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Moukari.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Redman is looking to take a break and control but Moukari is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moukari wants to control but Redman postures up. Moukari tries to improve position but can't. Redman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moukari down.
Redman cracks Moukari with a big elbow. Redman working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Redman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Moukari is trying to control Redman's posture but Redman avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moukari keeps working. Moukari is looking to regain half guard here but Redman keeps moving and retains side control. Moukari takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Moukari might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Redman working the head and body with strikes. Snoop Redman has got the better of the ground game so far. Redman with good strikes from the mount here! Redman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Moukari's face.

Redman stands up over Moukari, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Redman wants to control from the top but Moukari keeps moving. Moukari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Redman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moukari is tightening it up a little... Redman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Redman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Redman taps out! nice BJJ there by Moukari!
