Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Josefi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Figis avoids it really well and circles away.
Josefi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Josefi throws a sloppy head kick
and Figis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Good work by Figis as he checks the leg kick.
A combination from Figis does no damage.
Figis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Figis scores with a three punch combo!
Josefi pushes Figis up against the cage in a clinch.
Josefi is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Figis is defending well.

Josefi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Figis fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Josefi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Figis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Oooooh!!! Figis has knocked Josefi down with a huge combo! Figis steps away and waves a wobbly Josefi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Figis doesn't manage to clinch there - Josefi circles away.
Josefi went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Cyril Figis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Josefi misses with a takedown
and Figis counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Josefi! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
