Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marjan Simon (ranked 23993 p4p, 635 weight class) and Robert Bruce (ranked 2625 p4p, 328 weight class). Robert Bruce told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marjan Simon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Bruce!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bruce throws a body shot but no joy.
Simon misses with a series of wild punches.
Bruce appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Simon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bruce throws a body punch but Simon moves out of range.
Bruce throws a front kick aimed at Simon's knee but Simon avoids it well.
Bruce misses the shot to the body.
Simon walks into a straight right hand from Bruce.
Bruce lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A lazy left from Bruce finds it's target.
Simon slips a straight right by Bruce.
Simon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Simon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bruce fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Simon is out of range.
Simon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bruce misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Simon.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bruce connects with a nice looking jab.
Simon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Decent striking displayed by Bruce there.
Bruce clobbers Simon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Simon is rocked!
Bruce fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Oh Simon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Simon looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bruce lands a right hand from hell, dropping Simon. Bruce pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Bruce!
Robert Bruce decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
