Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lawrence (ranked 4289 p4p, 415 weight class) and Jamakin Me (ranked 5482 p4p, 493 weight class). Lawrence comes to the cage accompanied by Defeat Does Not Exist In This Dojo, Does It?. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Me misses with a series of wild punches.
Me throws a push kick but Lawrence slaps the foot to one side.
Lawrence appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Me thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lawrence has closed the distance and engaged Me in a clinch.
Lawrence lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Me.
Lawrence gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Me.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lawrence rushes Me and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lawrence cracks Me with a nice body shot.
Me looks winded!
Lawrence stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Lawrence lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Me's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lawrence creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Me with a big uppercut! Me tries to clinch up but Lawrence pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Me to the mat! Me covers up and Lawrence unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Johnny Lawrence decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
