Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wyatt (ranked 2201 p4p, 99 weight class) and Jose Winkle (ranked 5917 p4p, 202 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Winkle! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winkle moves away from the strike by Wyatt. Wyatt misses with a straight right. Wyatt throws out a loose jab but Winkle uses good head movement to avoid it. Wyatt tests Winkle's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Jose Winkle has been cut. Wyatt darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wyatt misses with a looping right. Wyatt lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Winkle avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Winkle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Winkle slips a straight right by Wyatt. John Wyatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. and Winkle counters with a nice leg kick. Wyatt seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Winkle fails with a takedown attempt. Winkle closes the distance and clinches.

Wyatt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. This has been an exciting period of action! Wyatt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Winkle tries to clinch up but Wyatt circles away and keeps his distance. Winkle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Winkle moves out of range of the strikes. Despite the aggression on Winkle's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Wyatt misses with a hook. Winkle ducked under it nicely. Winkle is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyatt looks to land a combination but Winkle avoids it well. Winkle looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Winkle tries to clinch up but Wyatt circles away and keeps his distance. Winkle uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wyatt. Winkle pushes a forearm under Wyatt's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wyatt is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
