Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Davis (ranked 3185 p4p, 425 weight class) and Billy Butcher (ranked 3705 p4p, 466 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by In to Deep. Butcher has chosen Won't Back Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hector Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Butcher! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis closes the distance looking to clinch and Butcher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Hector Davis has been cut. A momentary lapse in concentration from Butcher enables Davis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Butcher manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Butcher avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Butcher wants to sweep but no luck. Davis chips away with some ground and pound. Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butcher swivels though and keeps the full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Butcher holds on and takes a little breather. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butcher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Davis throwing strikes but missing. Butcher is trying to hold Davis in close to prevent damage but Davis has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is looking to advance position but Butcher won't allow it. Davis performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Butcher wants to improve his position but Davis is controlling well.
Davis stalling. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Davis lands a nice short elbow. Butcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Davis lands with a punch from half guard. Butcher won't allow Davis to pass to mount. Butcher trying to get back to full guard but Davis takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butcher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Davis controlling from the full mount. Davis working Butcher over with strikes here. Davis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Butcher just holding on. Davis scoring with strikes but Butcher is staying in there. Butcher tries to reverse the position but Davis maintains control. Davis is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Davis working for a submission but Butcher is keeping him at bay. Davis tries to push Butcher's head away but Butcher is holding on tight. Butcher really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis wants to control the pace but Butcher is squirming around nicely. Davis lands a big shot there that rocks Butcher but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Butcher is trying to escape the mount.
Davis dominating with strikes here. Davis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Butcher is surviving well by controlling Davis's body position as best he can. Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davis avoids the attempt from Butcher to control. Davis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis with good strikes from the mount here! Davis softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Butcher is out cold! Davis jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
