Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Moreno (ranked 5481 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Gray (ranked 5467 p4p, 491 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leandro Moreno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Gray! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moreno to the mat! Moreno manages to get full guard. Moreno wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gray manages to pass to side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Moreno wants to control but Gray is keeping busy.
Gray works his foot free and advances to mount. Moreno tries to hold on but Gray postures up. Moreno might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray throwing strikes here but Moreno is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray looking to finish with strikes here!
Gray avoids the attempt from Moreno to control. Gray controlling from mount. Moreno is looking to get to half guard. Moreno tries to hold on but Gray postures up. Gray is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moreno to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moreno shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gray sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Gray swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Moreno is now in Gray's guard. A big mistake from Gray there, giving up the dominant position! Moreno wants to control from the top but Gray keeps moving. Gray has a closed guard, preventing Moreno from standing up. Gray controls Moreno momentarily but Moreno frees himself. Gray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moreno's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Moreno is pulling down on Gray's head to control his posture. Gray wanted to stand there but Moreno had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Moreno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moreno looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Gray controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gray in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gray getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Gray fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moreno to the ground. Gray is now in Moreno's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Gray dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gray shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gray was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Moreno is not content to let Gray control the position. Gray is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Gray tries for a kimura but Moreno is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moreno trying his best to control but Gray has mounted him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreno wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gray.
Gray misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Gray takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gray thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Gray sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gray throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Moreno because Gray loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moreno defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gray. Moreno wants to control but Gray is having none of it. Jack Gray has got the better of the ground game so far. Gray controlling from the full mount. Gray trying to control but Moreno is having none of it. Moreno wants to control but Gray is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gray with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gray tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Moreno wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! I would not like to be Moreno right now.
Gray missing with strikes from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Gray showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Gray gets a takedown into half guard. Gray thows a huge punch but Moreno dodges it nicely.
Gray is trying to control the action in half guard but Moreno is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gray not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gray thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray is looking for a kimura but Moreno is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gray to get the leverage. Gray trying to control from half guard but Moreno is working away. Moreno is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreno is looking to control Gray's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moreno avoid being mounted? Gray wants to take a breather but Moreno is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gray looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Moreno! Moreno struggling a bit here. Gray is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moreno is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Gray politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gray prefers to stall for the moment though. Gray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moreno keeps working. Gray with the ground and pound but Moreno regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray controlling the pace. Gray throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Moreno looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gray thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moreno's head.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Moreno quickly recovers to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moreno is refusing to be controlled, as Gray sits in half guard. Moreno has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gray is working away from the top position though. Gray stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Moreno to get to his feet. Moreno gets caught flat footed, as Gray shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moreno working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gray. Leandro Moreno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack Gray is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gray not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Gray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gray has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
