Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Alikakov (ranked 7247 p4p, 559 weight class) and Ray Gillete (ranked 6283 p4p, 528 weight class). Mohamed Alikakov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ray Gillete!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alikakov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Alikakov digs a good body shot into Gillete's ribs.
Alikakov throws a series of punches but Gillete moves out of range.
Alikakov swings widly with a right hand
and Gillete counters with a two punch combo.
Gillete misses with a series of wild punches.
Alikakov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Alikakov throws a sloppy body shot
and Gillete counters with a straight right hand.
Alikakov scores with a jab to the jaw.
Alikakov lands a jab to the nose.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gillete has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Alikakov finds it's way round the side to connect with Gillete's head.
Alikakov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mohamed Alikakov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alikakov stuffs the takedown.
Alikakov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alikakov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A nice side step and Gillete releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Gillete throws an overhand right that lands on Alikakov's shoulder, as Alikakov tries to avoid the shot.
We've been told by Alikakov's head coaches at ELITE Island Gym - All Elite Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gillete fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Alikakov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gillete swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Alikakov swings widly with a right hand
and Gillete counters with a series of strikes. Alikakov will be more careful next time no doubt.
Alikakov is rocked!
Gillete goes for a double leg but Alikakov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Alikakov continues to drive forward.
Oh Alikakov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gillete circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Alikakov to the canvas! Alikakov doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gillete keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Gillete!
