Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Bastos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicious comes to the cage accompanied by Sid Justice. Bastos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Victory. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sid Vicious!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boy Bastos!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vicious misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bastos stuffs the takedown.
Vicious clinches up with Bastos and pushes him back against the cage.
Bastos using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Vicious has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bastos scores a nice knee to the body.
Vicious is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bastos connects with a nasty looking knee right to Vicious's face.
It looks like Sid Vicious has been cut.
Bastos decides to pull guard.
Bastos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vicious gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vicious is fighting to break Bastos's control of his arms but Bastos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Bastos has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Vicious off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bastos moves in looking to clinch but Vicious pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vicious darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bastos wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bastos makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vicious.
Bastos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vicious counters with a shoot takedown. Bastos fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vicious trying to control the position from guard on top but Bastos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bastos uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bastos takes the fight into the clinch.
Bastos manages to break the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bastos.
Vicious shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sid Vicious. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bastos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bastos doesn't manage to clinch there - Vicious circles away.
Bastos lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Bastos wants to clinch up but Vicious keeps it at a distance.
Vicious shoots in for a double leg but Bastos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vicious fails with a takedown attempt.
Vicious moves in looking to clinch but Bastos pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vicious misses with a head kick.
Bastos moves into the clinch.
Bastos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vicious closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bastos circles away.
Bastos circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bastos counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Vicious off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Bastos follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Vicious was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Boy Bastos!
