Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Francisco Babyara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Snapp!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snapp throws a shot to the body.
Snapp has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Snapp throws a jab when Babyara was well out of range.
Snapp takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Bob Snapp has been cut.
Babyara moves away from the strike by Snapp.
Babyara went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Snapp misses with a looping left.
Babyara fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Babyara lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Babyara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snapp is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Babyara.
Babyara avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Snapp moves out of range as Babyara strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Babyara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snapp throws out the jab.
Snapp fails to land with a series of punches.
Babyara is looking to counter punch.
We've been told by Babyara's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Babyara avoids the body shot from Snapp.
Bob Snapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Babyara throws a left and a right that both miss
and Snapp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Francisco Babyara has been cut.
Babyara uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


That has opened up Bob Snapp's cut even more.
Snapp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Babyara uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Snapp.
Babyara's jab looks to have found its range, popping Snapp under the eye.
Snapp throws a shot from downtown. Babyara moves away and avoids it.
Snapp throws a nice looking combination but Babyara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Babyara wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Snapp looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Babyara throws a series of punches but Snapp avoids them all with ease.
Snapp missing with a left hand there. Babyara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Snapp throws a looping overhand right but Babyara ducks down to avoid it.
Babyara is looking for a counter combo.
Babyara ducks under a wild hook from Snapp.

Babyara slips a straight right by Snapp.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Babyara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snapp stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Babyara staying out of range there.
Babyara misses with a series of wild punches.
Snapp misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab from Snapp misses.
Babyara throws a sloppy body shot
and Snapp counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Babyara misses with a few strikes there.
Snapp might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Snapp throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some wild striking there from Babyara.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Snapp! But no joy.
Snapp throws an overhand right that lands on Babyara's shoulder, as Babyara tries to avoid the shot.
A quick step to the side and Babyara tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

A big left from Snapp misses.
Snapp is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Snapp staying out of range there.
Babyara misses with a jab, cross combination.

Snapp drops Babyara with a beautiful combination! Babyara stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Snapp is looking for the KO!
Snapp gets in close and tags Babyara with a short punch that almost sends Babyara to the mat! Oh Babyara is in big trouble! He turns his back on Snapp, trying to create some distance but Snapp rushes him, striking wildly and Babyara goes down! The referee tackles Snapp into the cage to end the fight! Snapp is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Snapp!
