Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Pusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demian Bisping acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thomas Pusher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Demian Bisping!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pusher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bisping circles away quickly and effectively.
Pusher closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Demian Bisping has been cut.
Bisping avoids the head kick by Pusher.

Bisping shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pusher's guard.
Bisping tries to free his leg and advance position but Pusher is retaining full guard.
Pusher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pusher tries to get out of the position.

Bisping is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pusher is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pusher has escaped and now he's on top!

Bisping has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pusher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pusher has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Pusher has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bisping throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pusher's waist but Pusher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bisping off to one side.

Pusher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bisping.
Pusher goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pusher lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bisping backs up against the cage.

Pusher tries to close the distance and clinch but Bisping swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pusher throws a right hand that Bisping ducks under and follows up with a left that Bisping also avoids with ease.

Bisping shoots for a takedown but Pusher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Pusher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pusher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
