Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hopkins (ranked 3175 p4p, 338 weight class) and Repa Tiitti (ranked 2863 p4p, 318 weight class). Tiitti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by AC/DC Back in Black . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hopkins's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tiitti under the eye.

I was talking to Hopkins's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Hopkins will probably get the nod.

Hopkins drops Tiitti with a beautiful combination! Tiitti stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hopkins is looking for the KO!
