Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clinton Larsen (ranked 6018 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Abbahih (ranked 4377 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdul Abbahih has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Clinton Larsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul Abbahih! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbahih closes this distance looking for a takedown but Larsen circles away. Abbahih tries to score a power double leg takedown but Larsen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abbahih somewhat. Abbahih looks for a takedown but Larsen sprawls well. Clinton Larsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abdul Abbahih. Abbahih takes the fight into the clinch. Abbahih has Larsen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Larsen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Larsen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abbahih drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Larsen tries to pull guard but Abbahih won't allow it.
Larsen is pressed up against the cage. Abbahih has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Larsen down to the mat. Larsen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Abdul Abbahih seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abbahih shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Larsen but Larsen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Abbahih darts in and clinches Larsen up against the cage. Larsen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Abbahih is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Larsen to the mat. Larsen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Larsen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Larsen is trying to work for a kimura but Abbahih is defending well.
Abbahih tries to kick Larsen off but Larsen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Larsen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Larsen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Larsen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Larsen throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Abbahih to regain full guard. Larsen is standing up over Abbahih. Abbahih looks to escape but Larsen dives into side control.
Larsen misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Abbahih tries to escape but Larsen is in control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Abbahih can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbahih avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Larsen. Larsen wants to control but Abbahih is keeping him busy. Abbahih wants to get back to his feet. Larsen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Abbahih bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Abbahih shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Larsen defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbahih dives in and grabs Larsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Larsen pushes down on Abbahih's head and hops out. Larsen throws a sloppy head kick and Abbahih counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Abbahih lands a nice short elbow. Larsen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Larsen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Abbahih landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Larsen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Abbahih lands a nice short elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Abbahih seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Abbahih seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Larsen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Larsen tries to get to full guard but Abbahih has control of the leg. Larsen is breathing heavily. Abbahih lands with a punch from half guard. Larsen wants to improve his position but Abbahih is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Abdul Abbahih will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Larsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Abbahih moves into range and clinches up with Larsen. Larsen is trying to pull guard but Abbahih has him pressed against the cage. Larsen pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abbahih working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Larsen's head. Larsen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Abbahih showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Larsen looking for a sweep. Not yet Larsen, not yet. Abbahih lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Larsen is rocked! Abbahih loads up on a big left hand. Larsen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Abbahih looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Larsen can't hide his disappointment, as Abbahih celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdul Abbahih!
