The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar shoots in and bounces Bowers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lesnar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lesnar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bowers's guard. Lesnar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar passes Bowers's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lesnar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lesnar stalling. Lesnar wants to stand up but Bowers has a hold of him and won't allow it. Bowers wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lesnar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bowers is just riding it out for now. Lesnar eventually gives up the hold. Lesnar is pressing down on Bowers's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bowers is holding on for now. Lesnar controlling the action here. Bowers is looking for a sweep. Lesnar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lesnar feints and as Bowers raises his hands in defense, Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bowers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lesnar controls the pace. Bowers is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lesnar dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowers is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here as Lesnar stalls from top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bowers is looking to regain half guard here but Lesnar keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar dominated that round. That's time! Bowers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bowers misses with a takedown attempt and Lesnar counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Lesnar pulls guard successfully.
Lesnar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bowers prevents Lesnar from getting back to his feet.

Lesnar has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lesnar is on top in guard.
Lesnar is standing up over Bowers. Bowers looks to escape but Lesnar dives into side control.
Lesnar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar working the head and body with strikes. The referee asks Lesnar politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lesnar prefers to stall for the moment though. Lesnar lands a decent elbow from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar controls the position. Bowers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lesnar wants to stand but Bowers has his arm trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers is looking to regain half guard here but Lesnar keeps moving and retains side control. Lesnar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Lesnar has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Lesnar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bowers did well to prevent Lesnar getting side control. Bowers tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Lesnar manages to move to mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar punishing his opponent with strikes. Lesnar controlling the position easily from mount. Lesnar working the ground and pound effectively.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lesnar controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Bowers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Lesnar throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bowers. Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bowers wants to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lesnar in particular looking to stall. Bowers is in trouble now - Lesnar has advanced to mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar controlling the position easily from mount. Let's hope that Lesnar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Bowers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lesnar controlling the position easily from mount. Bowers trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lesnar content just to control the position here. Lesnar prevents Bowers from getting the reversal. Lesnar putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Bowers is bucking up trying to escape but Lesnar cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bowers is rocked! Lesnar postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bowers badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lesnar around the waist but Lesnar pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lesnar is the winner by TKO! Lesnar jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
